At Apollo Patios, we’re not your average deck builder. Our decks are designed and engineered with a steel frame for superior quality, strength and durability, and are proudly Australian. We provide a wide range of different decking options suited to a vast range of design applications.
Our decks are made using premium materials:

- Aluminium wood grain steps with galvanised stringers
- Kwila decking boards with stainless steel screws
- Aluminium posts OR Kwila hardwood posts
- 140 x 42 top rail balustrading with stainless steel wire
Our high-quality Kwila hardwood timber decking is second to none for its aesthetically pleasing look and durability. It adds warmth, style and quality to your outdoor spaces, and are low-maintenance and long-lasting.
For those who prefer a tiled finish to really make your deck your own, we give you the option of finishing your deck with fibre cement sheeting.

You’re only a few steps away from getting your dream deck. Here’s what you can expect during the building process.
- Design consultation: We start by ensuring we catch your vision by sending one of our friendly Design Consultants to your home to check out the area and start designing your deck. The initial consultation can usually take up to two hours, depending on the project’s complexity.
- Design & quote: Once our consultants have scouted the area, it’s time to get busy designing and finalising your ideas.
- Check measure: To ensure that your deck comes out perfectly, one of our Building Supervisors will visit the site to ensure all measurements and colours are correct.
- Council application: Applying to the Gold Coast local council is an important milestone in the decking process as it ensures your design has been signed off as safe and meets the legal standard. You don’t need to lift a finger because you take care of the entire process of receiving council approval.
- Manufacture & deliver: Once we have the council’s approval, our team will prepare all the decking materials and manufacture the parts to construct your deck. We will then load the truck and deliver your materials right to your home.
- Installation: For the installation process, once your Check Measure is complete and the Construction Plan approval is confirmed by your local council, you will need to schedule your installation with our builder in the area for their next availability.

In the Gold Coast, some building projects don’t require planning or building approval, depending on the size and type of the project. Your deck will most likely require planning approval. However, we’d suggest checking with the Gold Coast council just to be sure.
All of our decks on the Gold Coast are completely customised to the specific needs of each of our customers, and this makes it virtually impossible to give a set price without finalising designs.
Your deck designs are something completely unique, and with all the possibilities we offer to help you build the perfect deck for your needs, the amount of time it takes to build your deck will depend on the complexity of the project. However, when you book your installation, our Production Team will give you an estimate of how long construction will take.
