During our complete design appraisal, Apollo Patios we will discuss what you want from your outdoor area and what you are currently unable to do but would like to. If you’re unsure about this, we will help you realise the potential of what your area can become.
There are a lot of things to consider with a home addition and it is very easy to overlook important details that can come back to haunt you later.
We consider all aspects such as:
- What you will be using the space for and what you want to achieve
- What can you not currently do that you wish you could
- How it will be furnished (seating, cooking, lighting, cooling/heating etc)
- How it will work with your existing home, and how foot traffic flows from each area
- How you will use the space in the future and ensure it meets both your present and future needs
- All year round comfort living, taking into consideration the weather and aspect – where does the sun come in? Do you want the sun and light in and when? Are there sneaky cold or disturbing breezes?
- Privacy and outlook
By assessing your space fully we are guided in recommending the style of design to suit your home, choosing the correct materials for the floor, roof, and walls, and the structural aspects so that it’s built to last and can increase the value of your home.
Once the design appraisal is complete, you will receive detailed architectural drawings from Apollo Patios Sydney and Canberra and a fixed cost to ensure that the final product is what you were expecting, with no hidden surprises.
Once you have decided to proceed we will take care of the entire build process, from easy payment options, to obtaining permits, to managing the ordering and the installation process.
